Coaching for Personal & Professional Development (Online UK)
I offer coaching for individuals seeking greater clarity, direction, and meaningful change in their personal or professional lives.
My approach is psychologically informed and draws on my background as a psychotherapist alongside my specialist coaching training. It combines a forward-focused approach with space for reflection and deeper self-understanding.
Whether you are at a turning point, feeling stuck, facing an important decision, or wanting to develop personally or professionally, coaching can provide a dedicated space to step back, gain perspective, and take purposeful steps forward.
Why Work with a Psychotherapist Who Is Also a Coach?
Coaching typically focuses on development, goals, possibilities, and action. My background in psychotherapy brings an additional understanding of relationships, emotional patterns, identity, and the ways our past experiences can influence how we approach the present.
As a UKCP-registered psychotherapist with additional specialist coaching training, I bring this psychological understanding to my coaching practice while keeping the work focused on your development and where you want to go next.
This can be particularly valuable when the challenges you are facing are not simply about setting goals or improving performance, but involve questions of identity, confidence, relationships, purpose, or how you want to live and work.
My Approach
My coaching approach is relational, reflective, and grounded in psychological understanding, while remaining focused on growth, development, and direction.
I offer a space that is:
-
Collaborative and attuned – working together in an open and thoughtful way
-
Reflective and insightful – creating room to think, explore, and deepen awareness
-
Goal-oriented and purposeful – supporting you to move towards meaningful and realistic change
-
Flexible and responsive – adapting the work to your individual needs, priorities, and pace
The emphasis is not on quick fixes or prescribing what you should do. Instead, coaching provides space to develop greater clarity and self-awareness, explore possibilities, and make choices that feel meaningful and sustainable.

Training & Professional Background
I am currently undertaking specialist training as a Senior Practitioner Coach with EMCC Global, an internationally recognised professional body for coaching and mentoring.
This training is specifically designed for psychotherapists integrating coaching into their professional practice and places particular emphasis on ethical, reflective, and psychologically informed coaching.
Alongside this, I bring over 30 years of professional experience across a range of sectors. This includes experience of the corporate world as well as the challenges and rewards of self-employment and private practice. This breadth of experience gives me a grounded understanding of working life across organisational settings, career transitions, professional development, and the complexities of building and sustaining an independent career.
As a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, I also bring considerable experience of working with the emotional, relational, and psychological dimensions of change. This informs my coaching without turning coaching into psychotherapy.
Session Arrangements
Coaching sessions are available online across the UK.
I offer:
-
Individual coaching sessions
-
Short-term, focused coaching
-
Longer-term developmental coaching
Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs, providing enough structure to maintain focus while allowing the work to develop in response to what emerges.
Working Together
Coaching offers dedicated time and space to step away from everyday demands, think more clearly, reconnect with what matters to you, and consider how you want to move forward.
You may already have a clear goal, be facing a particular transition or decision, or simply have a growing sense that something in your personal or professional life needs to change. We can begin wherever you are.
I offer a free initial discovery call, where we can discuss what you are looking for, explore what you would like to gain from coaching, and consider whether my approach feels like a good fit for you. It is also an opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of how we might work together.
There is no obligation – simply an opportunity to have an initial conversation about what you would like to develop or change.
You are welcome to contact me to arrange a time to talk.
