Myofascial Release (MFR) is an advanced form of massage therapy that can treat a wide range of problems. Many people who come in for Myofascial Release treatment come with chronic aches and pains and find that the results of Myofascial Release are often faster and last longer than with any other type of massage they have tried before.

Myofascia is a continuous web-like construction that binds our bodily structure from head to toe. Myofascia is mainly collagen and elastin fibres which allow it to be flexible.

When someone experiences physical and emotional trauma or has poor posture, fascia may become scarred and harden—causing it to pull upon internal structures, affecting alignment and creating pressure on the surrounding tissues; resulting in pain which radiates into other areas of the body.

Myofascial Release is a combination of gentle static pressure and stretching. No oil applied and I work in conjunction with my client’s feedback and with what I can feel. In a Myofascial Release session, the body is treated as a whole as pain could be coming from an area where the client isn’t knowingly experiencing any problems.

For additional benefits, you can choose to add on Acupuncture for just £3.00.
