Sports Massage

Sports & Remedial Massage is very similar to deep tissue but combines advanced stretching techniques to further lengthen tight muscles. This makes sports and remedial massage especially useful for runners, footballers and rugby players to name but a few.

It can be used in conjunction with sporting activity and training to help to realign muscle fibres and break down scar tissue thus helping to achieve peak performance.

Regular sports massage while training can also help to alleviate and in some cases prevent injury occurring but, in the event of injury, it can help to speed up the recovery time and get them back in to practice as soon as possible.

I include techniques such as soft tissue release, muscle energy technique (also known as PNF) and positional release often combined with stretches I have adapted for the table from my experience of Thai Yoga Massage and Myofascial Release (MFR) to give the best results possible.
